(BEDFORD) - It’s time to register to vote - if you haven’t already.
Voter registration runs through April 9th. The election is May 8th.
Lawrence County Clerk Billie Tumey says if you need to register, change your address or make a name change you can do so at the clerk's office during regular hours for the next month or online.
If you visit the voter registration office, a photo ID like a driver's license, US Passport or other photo ID is required.
The voter registration office is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
You must be 18 by November 6th to qualify as a voter this year.
