(BEDFORD) - Individuals wanting to be umpires can take the open-book test to get their American Softball Association Certifications on March 24.
The testing will be held at the Fraternal Order of Police building at Murray Park from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m.
The cost is $75.
Register at the Bedford Parks office Monday through Friday from 7-11:30 a.m. and 12:30 - 4 p.m., by phone at (812) 275-5692, or mail to Bedford Softball Association, 1102 16th street Bedford.
Brian Turpen will be instructing the class and giving the test.
The season scheduled to start April 30.
This class does not guarantee employment with the Bedford Softball Association
