(SPRINGVILLE) - A Bedford man was arrested after a domestic fight at 11 Wells Lane in Springville early Wednesday morning.
Police were called to the home at 3:25 a.m.
Before Lawrence County Police arrived 23-year-old Alex Flynn, fled the home out a back window.
The female victim told police she and Flynn had gotten into an argument around 2 a.m.
"She advised that she was going to leave to avoid arguing and the suspect (Flynn) head-butted her in the nose, took her phone so she could not call for help, and pulled and carried her by her hair back into the house when she tried to leave," says Sheriff Mike Branham. "Officers noticed redness on the bridge of the female's nose, and a large patch of hair pulled from the victim's head."
Shortly after officers arrived at the scene, Flynn returned and had the female's phone in his possession.
Officers arrested Flynn on charges of domestic battery and criminal confinement.
"While attempting to complete their investigation, Alex Flynn continued to yell and be disorderly after being told multiple times to calm down and be quiet," added Sheriff Branham. "He was then charged with disorderly conduct."
