(PATOKA) - An Earth Day event will be held at the Patoka Lake Nature Center on April 22 from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
Anabel Hopkins, an artist who received an Arts in the Parks grant from the Indiana Arts Commission, will present the Earth Day workshop.
Hopkins will collect things like dead leaves, twigs, grasses and nuts and they will be glued to a large strong paper to create "critters" and other images.
"Imagination goes rampant as children make fun portraits and masterpieces to take home," Hopkins said in a new release.
