(MITCHELL) - Mitchell Volunteer Fire Department believes arson destroyed a vacant mobile home on Brown Street on Tuesday morning.
The property is owned by Leroy Brown.
Assistant Chief Fred Cassidy say firefighters believe the fire was set in the living room area.
Firefighters from Mitchell and Marion VFDs were alerted to the blaze at 5:30 a.m. at 3040 Brown Street.
When firefighters arrived the fire had been burning for some time.
Firefighters were on the scene for about three hours.
