(BROWN CO.) - The Indiana Department of Transportation will restrict traffic on Ind. 46 on April 5 to a single lane at the bridge over the north fork of Salt Creek, located 0.25 miles west of Ind. 135 in Nashville.
Temporary signals will be placed Monday at either end of the three-span, 153-foot-long structure to regulate one-direction-at-a-time traffic.
The Ind. 46 Salt Creek structure is part of a $1,153,832 three-bridge Brown County rehabilitation project.
Ragle Inc. is the state's contractor. Its Newburgh-based crews are charged with installing a latex modified concrete deck overlay to protect the Salt Creek bridge and renew its driving surface.
