(BEDFORD) - Bedford police are telling motorist to lock their doors.
"We can't say it enough and people are probably tired of hearing it - Lock Your Doors," says Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley. "Once again we are receiving numerous calls of thefts from vehicle. This seems to be a common trend in most theft cases."
In addition to locking your doors, motorist should remove firearms, valuables, and anything else someone with sticky fingers may want to steal.
If residents do notice anyone snooping around vehicles or out of place, call police immediately. Be sure to get a description of the person and a vehicle if they are in one and direction of travel.
