(PAOLI) - The Paoli Police Department has received a $2,000 grant from the Paoli Walmart for Project Lifesaver.
Project Lifesaver aims to equip every patrol vehicle, the Town Garage and the Town Office with Automated External Defibrillators.
Defibrillators are used in situations where an individual suffers cardiac arrest.
The total project cost is $14,494.
Currently, the department still needs to raise over $11,000 to complete funding for Project Life Saver.
The department is actively seeking grants and other additional funding for the project.
