(SOLSBERRY) - Greene County Sheriff’s deputies confiscated a large amount of raw marijuana earlier this month during a welfare check at a residence on State Road 43 in Solsberry.
On April 11th, deputies obtained a search warrant after detecting the odor of marijuana coming from the home.
Once inside, police found found multiple glass jars and large vacuum sealed bags containing raw marijuana as well as a small grow operation. Another glass jar containing marijuana was found in a RV parked in the driveway.
Police seized a total of 11 glass jars full of marijuana, 22 large clear bags of marijuana, seven mature marijuana plants and multiple drug paraphernalia items.
Police have not said if any arrests have been made and that the investigation is ongoing.
