(CROTHERSVILLE) - The search for a Crothersville man led to the arrest of 10 people on drug-related charges late Tuesday.
Crothersville Police Chief Brent Turner says officers obtained a search warrant for two address looking for 34-year-old Daniel Weisan who was wanted on charges of intimidation.
At 6:45 p.m. police arrived at the first home at 107 North East Street and detected the odor of marijuana.
There were seven people in the home. Police seized marijuana, meth, syringes and other drug paraphernalia.
They arrested:
Gary Martin Rutherford, 49, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of meth and unlawful possession of a syringe. He is being held without bond.
Charles James Hickman, 34, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance
Herman Curtis Eldridge, 43, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance
Sabrina L. Jensen, 40, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance
Jolene Jean Robinson, 37, Austin, maintaining a common nuisance
Carl James Perkins, 44, Crothersville, two counts of possession of marijuana/hashish, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a common nuisance
Rose Victorino, 56, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance
Police entered the second home at 306 West Walnut Street around 9:30 p.m. and found marijuana, a marijuana plant, meth, scales, bags and other paraphernalia used in the distribution of meth.
Police arrested:
James Cecil Parnell, 39, Seymour, possession of meth, maintaining a common nuisance. He is being held without bond.
Shannon Renee Parnell, 40, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance
Scott Allen Staley, 45, Crothersville, maintaining a common nuisance, possession of drug paraphernalia.Heis being held without bond.
All ten are being held at the Jackson County Jail.
The Crothersville Police Department was assisted by the Jackson County Sheriff's Department and the Austin Police Department K-9 unit.
