(BEDFORD) - Voter registration ends Monday, April 9 for Indiana’s May 8 primary election.
Those who haven't registered or who want to verify or transfer registration should report to a given county's voter registration office by the end of the business day on April 9. The deadline is midnight completing and submitting a voter registration application online at http://www.indianavoters.com
Early voting for the May 8th primary election begins April 10th. Those wanting to vote early can do so until May 7th at Noon.
Residents can vote from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday in the Voter registration office in the lower level of the Lawrence County Courthouse. The office will be closed from Noon until 1 p.m. for lunch.
Early voting will also be available on Saturday April 28th and May 5th at both the Voter registration room and Emerson Gym in Mitchell from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
On Election Day voters will no longer have to vote at their precinct. A registered Lawrence County resident can vote at ANY of the following Voting Centers with a valid identification:

The Voting Centers will be open on Election Day from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. on May 8th.
