(PAOLI) - Indiana State Police troopers found the body of a female on Thursday morning in Orange County.
ISP Sgt. Robert Lambert of the Jasper post confirmed troopers were searching an area in Paoli near Northeast 3rd and Railroad Avenue. This is an area where 23-year-old Kaylea Sue Hickman was last seen on May 22.
Investigators say the body was found northeast of that intersection.
Lambert says they cannot confirm that the body is that of Hickman, nor can they speculate on foul play. There will be an autopsy and further investigation.
Earlier - Police say 23-year-old Kaylea Sue Hickman was reported missing on May 22.
She has two small children, who are not with her. Hickman was last seen with her ex-boyfriend following an incident at a home on Northeast Third Street in Paoli, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Department.
Police pinged her phone to an apartment complex but were unable to locate Hickman.
Hickman is 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 115 pounds with brown eyes.
The last post on Facebook was at 12:22 p.m. on May 22.
Deputies are not ruling out foul play in the case.
