(CAMPBELLSBURG) - The Campbellsburg Country Festival will be held June 1-3. Several events are being held, including a hot dog eating contest, talent show and more.
A hot dog eating contest, sponsored by K&E Market, will be held Saturday, June 2, at 11 a.m. The cost to enter is $12. There will only be one winner. The grand prize is $100 a t-shirt.
Participants must be 18 years or older and will have 10 minutes to eat as many hot dogs as possible.
The Talent Show will be held Saturday beginning at noon. Contestants should check in at the community building no later than 11:30 a.m. to get their number.
The entry deadline for the talent show is Thursday, May 31. All participants must pre-register and pay the entry fee by this date. Entry fees are: $5 for individual, $10 for duet and $15 for group.

The Baby Contest will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, June 2, at the Brown/Vernon Fire Department on Oak Street. Bring a registration form, along with a $5 entry fee, to the fire station during registration, which begins at 1 p.m.
General admission for this event is $1.
Age categories are: 0-3 months; 4-6 months; 7-12 months; 13-18 months; 19-24 months.
Judging will be based on the babies' personalities, not the clothes they are wearing.

The Little Cowboy and Cowgirl Contest June 2 at 3:30 p.m. Those participating are asked to bring a registration form, along with a $5 entry fee to the registration table in the Campbellsburg Community Building by 3 p.m. the day of the event.
Age groups are: Ages 2-4; 5-7 and 8-10.
Western wear is encouraged, but is not necessary.
