(WASHINGTON) - The two candidates for Daviess County Sheriff in the Primary Election are scheduled to debate tonight.
Doors will open at 6 p.m. at the Washington Conservation Club and the event begins at 7 p.m.
Republicans Gary Allison and Troy Fuhs will make opening remarks and then answer questions.
Both are on the primary ballot to be chosen as the nominee for the fall general election.
Currently no Democrats are in the running.
Current Sheriff Jerry Harbstreit is not seeking re-election and has plans to retire from the Sheriff's Department at the end of this year.
