(MONTGOMERY) - Madison, Odon, Elnora, Montgomery, Cannelburg, Plainville and Washington Township Fire Departments responded to a fully engulfed fire at a timber business Monday night.
Firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 1:45 a.m. this morning reporting a blaze at D&G Timber at 5878 North County Road 900-East.
Madison Fire Department Spokesman Greg Clark says the building was destroyed along with milling equipment inside.
Clark says no one was in the building at the time of the fire. Officials say the last person left the building at 3:30 p.m. Monday.
Firefighters were on scene until 5:30 a.m.
Firefighters returned a couple of hours later to battle hotspots that rekindled.
No one was injured during the fire.
