(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2018 Pennington Grant Cycle.
The annual grant cycle is endowed by the Margie Marie Pennington Fund, which was created by a bequest from Miss Pennington, a former Lawrence County resident. All Pennington grant programs must benefit disadvantaged or homeless Lawrence County citizens, age sixty-five or older.
The Lawrence County Community Foundation board of directors approved grants totaling $18,400. Grantees and their projects follow:
