(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested Sunday morning after police received a called that he was passed out in a yard in the 300 block of TV Tower Road.
While officers were enroute to the location, the caller notified dispatchers that the male was walking to the Marion Township Fire Station on State Road 37 where officers located 53-year-old Dorven Bell of Heltonville.
According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, while talking to Bell officers received a consent to search his coat. In the coat officers found several spoons, two syringes and a baggie with residue. There was a clear liquid in one of the syringes which police say tested positive for meth, as did residue on one of the spoons.
Bell was arrested on charges of possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a syringe.
