(JASONVILLE) - The Shakamak Board of School Trustees unanimously voted Thursday to name Daniel Noel superintendent.

He is replacing Mike Mogan who will retire at the end of this school year.
His salary will be $92,000 for one year, with medical benefits, 15 paid vacation days and 10 sick days, plus accrued days from his previous job.
Noel, who has more than 25 years of experience in education and is the current superintendent for North Putnam Schools. His contract expires on June 30th.
Noel earned his Education Specialist Degree at Indiana State University in December 2011.
