(BEDFORD) - Wednesday is the last day to purchase tickets to attend the White River Humane Society 20th Annual Bone Appetit Dinner Saturday at the Expo Hall at the Lawrence County Fairgrounds.
The event - Paw Parazzi - will feature a silent auction, live auction, a catered meal, a cash bar, 50/50 raffle and shelter merchandise will be on sale.
Adult tickets are $25, and tickets for kids under the age of 12 are $15. Those 3 years old and younger get in free. Tables for eight people can be reserved for $200. Tickets can be bought until Wednesday at the Animal Care Clinic on Mitchell, Animal Hospital of Bedford on 16th Street, Bedford Veterinary Medical Centre on Oolitic Road, Copy Trolley at the corner of 16th and M streets, Spring Mill Veterinary Service on State Road 60 East and the WRHS building on Pumphouse Road. Tickets can also be purchased from board members. No tickets will be sold at the door.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. with dinner served by Judah's Catering at 6 p.m. There will be a cash bar available.
Garry Wolfe and Company will set the first item for bid during the live auction at 7 p.m. Items include furniture, home decor, toys and more.
Auction items include dozens of products, tickets to shows, sporting events, theme parks and services and items donated by local businesses like a set of antique wicker furniture, wine basket and pet care products.
This is the biggest fundraiser for the shelter. The 2017 Bone Appetit dinner and auction raised $24,000 for the White River Humane Society. The event was attended by 420 people.
