188th Pekin Fourth Of July Celebration Kicks Off Saturday

(PEKIN) - The 188th Pekin Fourth of July Celebration begins Saturday with flea market at Pekin Park in Pekin.
The celebration, one of the oldest in the nations, is being promoted by the Pekin Community Betterment Organization.
There will be a fireworks display, flea market and a parade on July 4th.
There will be a variety of activities for everyone.
You will also find a carnival, food vendors, a variety of live entertainment, a prince and princess contest and a queen contest, Pekin idol contest.

- Flea Market Set up at 8am
- Flea Market Open at 10am-7pm
Sunday July 1, 2018
- Flea Market Open at 12pm-5pm
Monday July 2, 2018
- Flea Market Open at 4pm-9pm

- Food Court Open 4pm- until after fireworks
- Flea Market Open 4pm- until after fireworks
- Derby City Amusements Open 4pm- until after fireworks
- Borden Lions Club Fish Dinner at Pekin Park Shelter House Open 5pm-9pm
- Pekin's Got Talent Registration near stage- 4pm
- Pekin's Got Talent- 5:30-7pm -Taylor Humphrey & Janet Hattabaugh-Schubert, Coordinators
