(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after he thought he had been shot and jumped through the drive-thru window at Arby’s on Thursday night.
According to Bedford Police Chief Terry Moore, officers were called to Arby's at 9:51 p.m. after 26-year-old Dyllan Armour jumped through the drive-thru window and told employees that he had been shot and someone was after him.
Armour then kicked a wall and then ran and hid in the freezer.
An employee was able to calm Armour down and have him hide in the bathroom until police arrived.
Chief Moore say Armour was high on some drug or drugs and Armour was not shot and no one had been shooting in the area. No one was after Armour and authorities believe Armour was possibly hallucinating on the drug or drugs he had taken.
Armour was medically cleared and then taken to the Lawrence County Jail on charges of public intoxication, criminal mischief and criminal trespassing.
