(WASHINGTON) - The Daviess County Commissioners this week approved a request for a permit to allow Daviess County Rural Water to lay 100,000 feet of line between Washington and Loogootee.
The project will take about a year to complete.
Derrick Wiggins of Midwestern Engineers says the project would mostly be on private easements but would impact multiple roads.
The Commissioners also heard a report on the progress of the Court House Annex.
Project Supervisor Michael Schapker told the Commissioners the foundation is completed and the structural steel should start going up this week.
