(LAWRENCE CO.) - Indiana Department of Transportation Southeast District personnel plan to close State Road 58 at a culvert location 2.5 miles east of Zelma Thursday for up to 30 days.
Contracted crews will replace the existing structure that carries Leatherwood Creek in Pleasant Run Township with a new 4-sided concrete box culvert measuring 16-feet by 4-feet and 42 feet in length.
A second State Road 58 drainage structure located 1.65 miles east of Heltonville will be removed and replaced once the initial structure has been installed.
Ragle Inc. is INDOT's contractor for this $461,365 two-structure project.
