(OOLITIC) - Mark your calendar for July 21, 2018 to attend the Salt Creek Car Show at the Salt Creek Flea Market.
Along with the car show, organizers Chad Walls and Heather Machida say there will be food, door prizes and a 50/50 raffle.
Some door prizes include donated service certificates and automobile supply gift baskets from local businesses.
The event is a fundraiser for the upcoming Salt Creek Festival happening this fall.
Registration will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. The first 30 cars to enter will get a Salt Creek Car Show dash Plaque.
Awards will begin at 1 p.m. for the following categories:
Each category winner will take home a trophy.
Machida said the funds will be partly used to pay for musical entertainment to play at the festival.
Machida also said the Salt Creek Festival's corn maze has been planted and is currently growing thanks to David Flinn from Flinn Farms for donating the corn maze seed and Chad Lutrelle for tilling the land.
The corn maze is almost an acre and will also host the 'Zombie Shoot Out' for kids 12 years-old and under.
"Parking is going to be in the fields to the right of Salt Creek Flea Market with handicap spots," said Machida on the growing concern that there will not be adequate parking.
