(SEYMOUR) - Seymour Police arrested a Brownstown man after he stole a vehicle and attempted to flee from police.
At 10:35 p.m. Seymour Officer Ryan Cherry conducted a traffic stop on a mini-van reportedly stolen from Brownstown in the area of North Broadway and East 6th Streets.
The driver of the van and the officer got into a scuffle and the man attempted to flee.
The officer was able to subdue the man after tasing him.
Police arrested 21-year-old Adam Wood on charges of auto theft, resisting arrest and driving while driver's license suspended.
