(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Democratic and Republican parties filed four candidates for various township advisory board positions that had vacancies on the upcoming general election ballot.
Lawrence County Democratic Party Chairwoman Martha Whitmill appointed Jodi Parks to run for the Marion Township advisory board.
She will face Republicans Ray Lindsay, Carolyn Zeeks and Dan Wade.
Wade was appointed by Lawrence County Republican Party Chairman Chris May last month.
Voters will vote for three people.
May also appointed Stacie Ratliff and Angela Myers to run alongside Brooke Horner-Hayes for the three Guthrie Township advisory seats.
There are no Democratic challengers to that race.
