(OOLITIC) - The Salt Creek Car Show is happening this Saturday July, 21st at the Salt Creek Flea Market.
Event organizers Chad Walls and Heather Machida are expecting a great turn out.
"I'm really excited. We have passed out flier after flier," said Machida.
She also mentioned that she plans to put signs up to pull some motorcycles from the Boogie that is also happening this weekend.
Participants and the public can look forward to food, door prizes provided by event sponsors and a 50/50 raffle. Some door prizes will include Buffalo Wings and Rings gift cards, engine oil, car wash supplies, oil changes and more.
The Salt Creek Festival Committee will be grilling out. Drinks will also be available.
The event is a fundraiser for the upcoming Salt Creek Festival happening this fall.
Registration will be held from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m. and the cost is $10. The first 30 cars to enter will get a Salt Creek Car Show dash Plaque.
Awards will begin at 1 p.m. for the following categories:
In the event of rain, Machida said that the award time will be moved up to ensure no one gets caught in the rain.
Each category winner will take home a trophy.
Machida said the funds will be partly used to pay for musical entertainment to play at the festival.
