(WASHINGTON) - City officials have closed Washington’s WaterWorld until further notice.
The facility was closed after a fire in the main control box that services the primary pump.
Parks Department officials say they are working with a company to try and get the damaged repaired as soon as possible.
The pool is scheduled to close for the season after August 5th due to the lack of lifeguards when school resumes.
