(BEAN BLOSSOM) - The 20th Annual Bean Blossom Blues Festival, three nights of Blues entertainment from the Bill Monroe Music Park featuring Danielle Nicole Band, Tommy Castro and the Pain Killers, and Bernard Allison.
The festival runs from August 23rd through the 25th.

Kick off the weekend with "Thirsty Thursday" - $3-16 oz. award winning draft craft beer all night!
The 1-4-5's will start the evening hosting the annual Jam Session in the Pavilion Bar from 4-7 pm.
Longtime blues family member Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind will ignite the main stage with Larkin Poe, deep rooted southern blues dynamic duo and their band from 7-10 pm.
Friday Blues Under the Stars | 6 - 11:30 pm The evening begins with our longest performing friend....
Big Al & The Heavyweights return to help us celebrate 20 years, followed by Jason Ricci and the Bad Kind. Monster Mike Welch & Mike Ledbetter who are tearing up the blues scene this year with 7 blues nominations will have the honor of bringing Friday night to a close, with hopefully an all-star jam at the end
Saturday Full Moon Stars | 3:30 - 11 pm Welcome back an old friend Danielle Nicole returns for her 5th Bean appearance on the tails of a hot new album and heavy touring schedule. The name Allison has a strong blues legacy; Bernard Allison plays the same smokin' six string shooter that his late father Luther Allison assaulted the blues with. Tommy Castro is one of the brightest contemporary blues musicians, combining passionate, fiery guitar playing with power vocals. Saturday night will almost too hot to handle.
