(DAVIESS CO.) - The Daviess County Annex project is continuing and the structure is starting to look like a building.
The commissioners voted unanimously Tuesday night to name the building the Daviess County Government Center.
County Commissioner Michael Taylor, who has been the guiding force on the Annex project, noted the $7.9 million building came in under budget and is adding no new taxes for Daviess County's taxpayers.
The Annex will solve the County's needs for more space, and will help patrons by centralizing county offices and services in one area.
