(BEDFORD) - Leadership Lawrence County is a program designed to build leaders in the community. The class improves leadership skills and capabilities, develops professionalism and engages participants in the public policy process.
Classes begin in September 28th and meet monthly through May.
The class is comprised of nine full-day, monthly sessions throughout Lawrence County, with varying businesses, government officials and organizations serving as class hosts. There is also a trip to the State House, providing participants with an opportunity to tour the work of the three branches of state government and dine with local legislators.
Participants have an unparalleled opportunity to interact with and learn from key community leaders, business executives and elected officials. Leadership Lawrence County is a well-established and highly respected program in Lawrence County. Businesses are encouraged to enroll one or more of their employees in this professional program.
There are openings for 15 class members and the deadline for enrollment is Friday, September 7th.
