(LOOGOOTEE) - Loogootee Police arrested 71-year-old Timothy Guy, of Loogootee, Friday, on a charge of possession of child pornography.
The arrest followed an investigation into a complaint about a man inside the Wendy's Restaurant who was viewing what appeared to be child pornography. During the investigation, Guy gave police permission to search the content of the computer and an external hard drive.
That search turned up several images of nude girls ranging in age from 5 and 6 years old to about 13 to 14 years old.
A search warrant was obtained for Guy's residence at 13499 Mt. Calvary Rd., on Saturday, where police say they found multiple media storage devices, two cameras, two tablet computers and an external hard drive. Police did not say what, if anything, was found on the devices.
Martin County Prosecutor Michael Steiner says he is considering seeking cooperation from federal authorities in the case.
Assisting with the investigation and arrest were the Indiana State Police, Martin County Sheriff's Department, and the Daviess County Sheriff's Department.
