(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police are looking for two men that beat and robbed a man in the lobby of Walnut Grove Apartments on Friday.
Police went to the apartments on South Walnut Street Pike after a male reported that he was sitting his wheelchair in the lobby of the complex when two men approached him and began punching him in the face and chest.
The 49-year-old male told police he didn't know the men who attacked him.
The male says they punched him around 12 times before taking his money from his wallet and also taking an open pack of cigarettes from his shirt pocket.
The male suffered bruising and swelling to his eyes and the sides of his head and had dried blood in one of his ears.
Anyone with information about the incident or the two males is asked to call the Bloomington Police Department at (812) 339-4477.
