(BLOOMINGTON) - Monroe Circuit Judge Kenneth Todd has announced that he will retire on October 15.
Judge Todd, who is in his seventh term, has served more than 40 years.
Gov. Eric Holcomb will appoint someone to replace Judge Todd. That person will serve to the end of 2020.
Three other veteran judges -- Marc Kellams, Frances Hill and Teresa Harper also plan to retire at the end of the year.
