(BEDFORD) - The Veteran’s Transportation Service that serves Lawrence County is in need of volunteer drivers.
Drivers are needed to transport veterans to Indianapolis, Louisville and any other official Community Based Outreach Clinic.
There is no pay, just a meal ticket for lunch.
Veterans from Greene, Martin and Owen counties are eligible for rides as long as they can get to the pick-up point at Bedford's American Legion Post 33 on X Street.
