(WASHINGTON) - Washington Police had to use a taser to subdue a woman holding a firearm. Officers were called at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday to the 100 block of Southwest 10th street after a report of a woman standing with a gun, yelling and cocking the weapon.
When police arrived Kelly Spaulding refused to put the gun down.
Police tased Spaulding and took the gun away.
After being medically cleared at a local hospital. Spaulding was transported to jail on a charge of criminal recklessness with a firearm, intimidation and neglect of a dependent.
