(DUBOIS) - A weekend fire destroyed an abandoned home in Dubois.
A neighbor reported the fire after seeing flames just before 11 p.m. on Saturday.
When Dubois Volunteer Fire Department firefighters arrived at the home at Third and Sycamour Street they found the southwest corner of the home engulfed in flames.
Firefighters battled the blaze, but it spread to the rest of the home. The home was declared unsafe and was tore down.
The home is owned by Kristy Ranck of Texas and was vacant.
The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
