(BLOOMINGTON) - Indiana Department of Transportation’s contractor for its $110,000 pedestrian-activated signal project on State Road 45 at Deckard Drive/Tamarron Drive in Bloomington, has installation crews onsite setting strain pole and control cabinet foundations.
Current operations have minimal impact on traffic. But as work progresses near University Elementary School, motorists may experience brief delays while flaggers direct traffic around crews and equipment.
The contract completion date is November 30.
Ragle, Inc. of Newburgh is the state's contractor for installing the High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) signal heads, strain poles, conduit and control cabinets.
