(BEDFORD) - Hoosier Action is holding a community conversation Monday to address healthcare and its impact on Hoosiers’ lives.
Bedford and Lawrence County residents, as well as others from nearby communities, are welcome to come and share their personal stories, to shine a light on the pressing issues of children's health, care access, and addiction treatment.
The conversation will take place at the Community Concourse at 1402 H Street from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Snacks and easy voter registration will be available. The event is free and open to the public.
This event is part of an effort spanning Southern Indiana to raise the voices of ordinary working Hoosiers coping with healthcare challenges. Hoosier Action has proposed The Care Agenda, a four-pillared approach to improving Hoosier health and wellbeing by addressing pollution, care access, youth and kids, and the opioid crisis with reasonable and compassionate approaches that cross party lines.
