(BLOOMINGTON) - Work will be light in the I-69 Section 5 construction zone over the weekend. All lanes of State Road 37 will be open to traffic throughout the corridor on both Saturday and Sunday.
Crews will be working and there will be some offline activity in a number of locations, including driveway grading, sign installation, shoulder stone placement, installation of signal components and a number of punch list items.
Paving crews will be working on Wayport Road and motorists should be aware of flaggers where paving is taking place. Paving on local access roads will continue over the next two weeks.
The speed limit throughout the construction zone remains 45 miles per hour, and law enforcement will have a presence daily. Motorists are urged to watch their speed and drive without distractions.
