(BEDFORD) - As rain saturated the area this weekend, highway crews and volunteer fire departments were busy removing downed trees over the weekend.
Lawrence County Emergency Managment Director Valerie Luchauer says residents can expect some flooding near the river this week as water from White River travels south, but she doesn't expect any major problems.
There was some localized flooding, but waters receded quickly.
Trees fell due to the saturated ground, four pulled down power lines.
The forecast calls for mostly sunny skies the rest of the week.
