Autumn Harvest Days At Spring Mill State Park

(MITCHELL) - Autumn Harvest Days are Saturday and Sunday at the Pioneer Village at Spring Mill State Park.
Events run from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
- All day: Cider pressing and apple butter
- 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.: Crosscut saw demonstration
- 11 a.m. - Harvest fair displays in the Upper Residence
- 11:15 a.m. - Make a small cornhusk doll in the Upper Residence
- 11:30 a.m. - Sawmill demonstration
- Noon - Hog calling contest at the Upper Residence
- 12:30 p.m. - Spinning demonstration at the Upper Residence
- 1:30 p.m. - Pie eating contest at the Upper Residence
- 2:30 p.m. - Sawmill demonstration
- 3 p.m. - Make a leather craft at the Leather Shop
- 3:30 p.m - Learn about Sam Bass, a notorious outlaw that lived in the Weaver's Cabin!
The park gate fee is $7 for in-state residents and $9 for out-of-state residents. Annual DNR passes are accepted.
