(BLOOMFIELD) - A Bloomfield woman is in Greene County Jail for neglect of a dependent in regards to a 2017 incident which left an infant with a broken arm.
Police arrested 26-year-old Brandy Atherton on a warrant for Level 3 felony neglect of a dependent resulting in serious bodily injury. She is being held in the Greene County Jail on an $8,000 surety bond.
Last week, Atherton entered a not guilty plea and she was appointed Public Defender Ellen Martin to represent her. The matter is set for a jury trial on February 5th at 9 a.m.
