(BEDFORD) - Early voting at the Lawrence County Courthouse is off to a good start, according to Billie Tumey,
Lawrence County Clerk.
"We have had a very good turnout so far," Tumey added. "As of Tuesday morning, 1591 have voted in person and we have mailed out 1109 absentee ballots."
Absentee or early voting continues through November 5th in the Voter Registration office of the courthouse weekdays from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. The office will be closed from Noon until 1 p.m. each day for lunch.
Early voting will end at Noon on November 5th.
Saturday voting at the Courthouse and Emerson Gym in Mitchell will be this Saturday and Saturday, November 3rd from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
Satellite Saturday voting will be held at Heltonville Elementary this Saturday from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. and at Oolitic Town Hall on Saturday, November 3 from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m.
