(BLOOMINGTON) - Three Bloomington residents and a juvenile were detained after a domestic fight Saturday at East Graham Place.
The four were detained after a report of a domestic fight at 1:29 a.m. and someone being stabbed in the neck.
According to police, 18-year-old Dylan Braun got to a verbal argument with his 20-year-old girlfriend. The girlfriend told police Braun pushed her against a wall and hit her multiple times in the presence of a child. When the woman attempted to leave, Bruan's brother Austin wouldn't let her.
The woman was finally able to escape and went to her apartment in the 1400 block of West 12th Street, but when she arrived Dylan Bruan, who was armed with a knife, was there waiting for her.
She fled the apartment and ran to a neighbor's who called police.
When she returned to her apartment she found Braun had cut his own throat, but not deep enough to be fatal.
The woman convinced Braun to return to his mother's home at East Graham Place.
Police detained Austin R. Braun, 18, on a preliminary charge of criminal confinement, 36-year-old Brandie Branaman, on charges of battery and resisting law enforcement and a 15-year-old male on preliminary charges of intimidation and resisting law enforcement.
Dylan Braun was taken to IU Health Bloomington to have his neck treated and after his release will face preliminary charges of domestic battery and intimidation.
