(BUTLERVILLE) - Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating an off-road vehicle crash that resulted in the driver being ejected and suffering serious injuries to their lower extremities and a passenger injured.
On Sunday afternoon, officers were alerted about the crash at the intersection of County Road 625 North and County Road 750 East in Butlerville.
Emily Reverman, 20, Elkhart, was operating a Polaris Scrambler on the county road when a mechanical failure caused Reverman to lose control of the vehicle and veer off the roadway into a creek.
Emily was ejected from the vehicle and suffered injuries to her lower extremity. She was transported to Saint Vincent Hospital in Jennings County for treatment.
Her passenger, 22-year-old Evan Griffin, of Martinsville, suffered minimal injuries.
Neither driver or passenger were wearing helmets.
