(BEDFORD) - A Solsberry woman was injured Sunday night when a deer collided with the motorcycle she was riding on.
According to a Bedford Police report, 49-year-old Steven Arthur of Solsberry was traveling north on State Road 37, just north of 35th Street when a deer ran into the roadway and collided with the Arthur's 2006 Yamaha XV1700.
Both Steven and his passenger, 45-year-old Katrina Arthur, were thrown from the motorcycle.
Steven was not injured. Katrina complained of leg pain and was taken by an IU Health Hospital ambulance to IU Health Bloomington Hospital for treatment.
