(UNDATED) - The following is a list of trick or treat hours and fall events.
LAWRENCE COUNTY
Sinister Hallows at Salt Creek Flea Market on Oolitic Road is open every Saturday in October until Nov. 3. Along the trail, visitors will meet Granny and her twisted family who haunt the creek. After being spooked along the creek banks guests can venture their way to the corn maze and see if they can find their way out encountering other frights along the way - word is Big Foot has been spotted in the area. The cost is $10. Those wanting to try their luck shooting Zombies with a nerf gun can give it a try for $5. There is a less scary zombie shoot for younger children. One adult is allowed per child for the $5 fee.
The City of Bedford will hold its Halloween Trick or Treat on Wednesday, October 31st from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. for one night only.
"Bedford Scare Around the Square - Wednesday, October 31st Downtown Bedford. 3:30pm to 5:15 p.m.
The City of Mitchell trick or treat will be Wednesday. October 31st from 6 p.m. until 9 pm.
Join us for a SPOOKTACULAR evening on Halloween Night! It's a FREE Community Halloween Party complete with Food and refreshments and treats. There will be a costume parade, indoor trick or treating, fun Halloween party tunes, and more. Super Treat Night is presented to you by WTIU. It's completely free and always a good time. Come out and see how the staff transforms the Boys & Girls Club of Lawrence County into a frightful adventure for all those who attend. The event is Wednesday, October 31, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
- Trick or Treat at Mitchell Library will be Oct. 31, at the Main Street door from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. There will be treats, books, and fun.
- Safe Night Trick or Treat sponsored by the Lawrence County Fairboard will be held at the fairgrounds on October 30th from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. for children ages 12 and under. During the event, Lawrence County Young Farmers will host a Share the Harvest event. They are asking those attending to bring a non-perishable food item to donate to help feed the hungry in the county.
BROWN COUNTY
- The City of Nashville will hold their trick or treat hours from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31st.
DAVIESS COUNTY
- Trick or Treating in the City of Washington has been moved to Tuesday, Oct. 30 from 5 p.m. until 8:30 p.m.
- There are several safe stops throughout the city and county. Some of which include:
- The Washington Police Department Garage on Van Trees
- The Daviess County Sherrif's Department
- The West End Fire Station
- Daviess Community Hospital.
- North Daviess Medical Clinic in Odon
- Washington Carnegie Public Library
GREENE COUNTY
- Bloomfield Trick or Treat hours will be Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
JACKSON COUNTY
- Scarecrow Stroll, October 12-31. Merchants decorate scarecrows and display them outside of their store. The public can vote for their favorite.
- Residential Trick or Treat is Wednesday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. Downtown Trick or Treat, will be Monday, October 29, 4 p.m. until 6 p.m.
- Trunk & Treat Wednesday, Oct. 31 from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Brownstown Christian Church
- Freetown Church of Christ's annual trunk or treat is from 4 to 6 p.m. Oct. 27 at the church, 7077 N. State Road 135, Freetown. There will be lots of candy, carnival games, prizes, food and hayrides.
- Lions Club Annual Halloween Parade, Monday, October 29 at 6 p.m. Parade starts at Post Office and goes through downtown.
MONROE COUNTY
- Little ghosts and goblins in both Bloomington and Ellettsville are invited to trick-or-treat from 5:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 31, rain or shine. Sandy Hash, Ellettsville clerk-treasurer, said residents are encouraged to turn their porch lights on if they want to receive trick-or-treaters.
- Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. - 8 p.m. Perry-Clear Creek Fire Department will host a trick or treat event at Station 21 on 9094 S Strain Ridge Road in Bloomington
ORANGE COUNTY
- Due to the forecast for potentially heavy rainfall Wednesday night Orleans Town officials have changed "Trick or Treat" Night to Tuesday night October 30th from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
- Paoli Trick or Treating is Wednesday, October 31 from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
- Orleans Fire Department members will be welcoming "trick or treaters" at the Orleans Fire Station (located behind Orleans Town Hall) Wed., October 31st 6 to 9 p.m.
WASHINGTON COUNTY
- Trick or treating in Salem has been moved to Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. due to impending weather. This is for all of Washington County.
- New Beginnings Church has also moved their Trunk or Treat to Tuesday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.
- Southern Hills Trunk or Treat will remain on Wednesday, October 31. The event is held inside.
