(BEDFORD) - Two Bedford women were arrested after a domestic fight at a home in the 1550 block of Trodgen Lane Friday night.
According to Chief Deputy Aaron Shoults, officers were called to the home at 11:46 p.m. after 29-year-old Stephanie Webb reported she had been injured by 34-year-old Brandy Ellis. and that Ellis had left the home in a vehicle.
The two women lived together at the home on Trodgen Lane.
Officers stopped Ellis' vehicle on John Williams Boulevard, while another officer went to the home to speak to Webb.
"The investigation revealed that Ellis confronted Webb about money owed to her after Webb arrived home," Chief Deputy Shoults says. "A physical fight took place inside Webb's vehicle. During this fight, a three-year-old female was kicked in the face causing bruising around one of her eyes."
Police say Ellis suffered a scratch on her neck.
Webb suffered a swollen lip.
Police arrested both women.
Ellis is facing charges of domestic battery. Webb is facing charges of domestic battery and battery on a person under the age of 14 years old.
