(BEDFORD) - If you are looking for some frightening fall family fun visit Sinister Hallows.
Small groups of about ten people make up your haunting party. The wait time is worth it as you hear the screams and yells of those that go before you.
The group's way is lighted by a deathly guide who starts the dark and ominous walk with tales of the paranormal happenings of the Sinister Hallow.
The first ghostly ghoul the group encounters is the ghastly gatekeeper giving dire warnings of death and dismemberment as you continue on the trail.
There are several buildings to enter if you dare along the trail. They are filled with creepy crawlies and other spooktacular things just waiting to pop out at you.
As you adventure along the creek banks other ghosts and crazies may lurch out of the fog.
Continuing the sinister walk you enter the graveyard to see the undead rise from shadows and other demons like creatures feasting on the fear of fellow travelers.
Along the way, you may meet the chainsaw-wielding maniac. After escaping near death you enter the creepy corn maze where a psychotic laughing girl and other crazed killers roam.
The group hastily exits the corn maze into more buildings and mazes of rooms where killing clowns and murderous creatures like Slenderman scare those with their other gruesome monstrosities.
Clinging tightly to one another, the group will make it back to the ghastly gatekeeper and his taunting of your fear daring you to return to the Sinister Hallow once more.
Kaylee Bolk and Olivia Blackwell stated " It was so worth it! Fun for kids and adults. The Nun was their favorite part of the Hallow. "Twisty the Clown was cool and the air horn creeped them out."
Orion Meyers and twin brother Lucas, age 7, added, begged their father to go again,
"Pennywise was my favorite," said Orion.
"The spiders creeped me out', said Lucas.
Eric Seiffert and Brookelyn Meyers stated "Great...Loved the Nun and the Gilly suits.
Twisty from American Horror Story was Brookelyn's best scare of the night.
Cole Smith, age 13, said, "Grade A Haunt... My Mom got jumped by the demon pig it was the best!"
Sinister Hallows is open every Saturday in October until Nov. 3. After being spooked along the creek banks guests can venture their way to the corn maze and see if they can find their way out encountering other frights along the way - word is Big Foot has been spotted in the area.
Those wanting to try their luck shooting Zombies with a nerf gun can give it a try for $5. There is a less scary zombie shoot for younger children. One adult is allowed per child for the $5 fee.
During the fall festival Oct. 4-6th there will be multiple events for the whole family including vendors, hayrides, music, trunk or treat, an Escape Room, carnival rides and more.
